Bank Deposits
Banks combine the checks and card payments you deposit into one statement line. A bank deposit in DayZero mirrors that: it batches individual payments out of undeposited funds into a single deposit that reconciles cleanly against the bank.
Key capabilities
- Select multiple undeposited payments to combine into one deposit
- Add other deposit lines (interest, owner contributions) alongside customer payments
- Choose the destination bank account and deposit date
- Posts a single entry moving funds from undeposited funds to the bank account
- Deposit total matches the lump sum on the bank statement for easy reconciliation
How it works
Payments you receive can land in an undeposited-funds holding account. A bank deposit clears the selected payments out of that account and into the chosen bank account in one posting, so the deposit total equals the bank statement line you reconcile against.
How to use it
- Open Bank deposits and choose New.
- Pick the destination bank account and deposit date.
- Select the undeposited payments to include and add any other deposit lines.
- Confirm the total matches what hit the bank, then save.
- Reconcile the single deposit line against your bank statement.
